After watching Dallas Green (aka City and Colour) perform "Body in a Box" on Last Call with Carson Daly, I made the fastest purchase of a record I've ever made. Usually I calculate: are there enough good tracks to support any weaker ones? But after one listen, I grabbed my phone and bought the deluxe version of this album, complete with demos of each of the tracks on the standard release. I like honest, simple sounds about conflicted, complicated lives. "Bring Me Your Love" epitomizes everything I look for in a record.
