Danger Mouse meets The Shins. Its best moments are when it manages to be soulful but airy, like with "The High Road" or "The Mall and Misery." "Mongrel Heart" sounds like a car chase in a Bond movie: it has a mechanical swagger that would be perfect for driving something retro at high speeds. "Sailing to Nowhere" is really the only weak link.
